Meaningful education research requires strong participation, but recruiting schools and districts to participate in research is challenging and complex. This paper highlights common challenges to successful recruitment and strategies to counteract those challenges. Three current EIR grantees share examples of their successes and challenges in navigating research readiness and finding innovative ways to recruit for their studies.
